In the 1930's, Epiphone seemed to be among the few companies to take jazz music earnestly and so they launched the Sheraton, a hollow-body f-hole guitar which enabled musicians to play as loudly as they desired minus the feedback they were getting with various other guitars. Then going to 2002 and the introduction of the Epiphone Elitist Sheraton guitar and Epiphone has done the impossible. They made the Sheraton even better.
